Personally I been using my desktop keyboard as my midi keyboard ever since I been using fl studio The resound why. I use my desktop keyboard more then my midi is simply that am more countable and comfortable of using it and if u really think about it's almost the same as the midi . Just don't have the long range of sound that u reach with the midi but long story short I been using fl studio sense the fruity loops 3. Was made I think that was 2000 I was the age of 12 back then an I even then I always felt comfortably using the desktop keyboard then the midi . I was provide at the time I'm not saying the MIDI is worth less it's just an extra to me I just use as to help me break down big sequences when I need them in the song the am producer maybe it just me but at the end of the day.
